One for those who feel lost!!
To the one's who feel lost,
There are days that feel dull even when the sun's shining brightly and days when you feel darkness blanketing you. There are days when you won't have the energy to get out of bed and face the world. There are days when feel you are going to break and crumble and you feel like you've hit rock bottom. You don’t have your life figured out and you feel lost or You
can have your entire life figured out and still feel lost. You can be in your thirties or late twenties and
working your dream job, and feel lost. You can be happy and have a lot of people
around and still feel lost.
Feeling lost is just like being in a tunnel, filled with darkness and deafening silence or loud chatter, knowing no escape. Feeling lost is like a nightmare, where instead of dreaming it, you are living it. Feeling lost is like drowning deep into water, gasping for air and voicing unheard screams.
Maybe feeling lost is a part of life. It's okay to not know what to do next. It's okay if what you planned doesn’t work out the way you wanted it to. It's okay if you are still stuck on someone who broke your heart. It's okay to stop for a little while and not get consumed by the world around you. It's okay to feel vulnerable and scared and it's okay to cry your eyes out.
Recently, I read a beautiful paragraph it said:
“The best thing about rock bottom is the rock part. You
discover the solid bit of you. The bit that can't be broken down further. The
thing that you might sentimentally call a soul. At our lowest we find the solid
ground of our foundation. And we can build ourselves anew.”
― Matt Haig, The Comfort Book
This phase scares the living daylight out of you but sometimes you have to get knocked down lower than you have ever been to stand back up taller than you ever have. Sometimes, things have to fall apart to make room for better things. To discover that solid bit in you. I know it’s easy to say things like this but when you actually hit rock bottom nothing makes sense it just hurts but the only way out is to believe that there’s no further falling down from this. Take deep breaths and trust the process, because you will reach the end of your tunnel soon and in that moment you will be glad you didn't give up.
Love,
Someone who is equally lost.
You are an inspiration for so us....May God bless you with all the happiness of life ❤️ 🙏
