10 Things I Know to be True..

I was randomly binge watching YouTube when I came across a poet name sarah kayle, in her video she said that the first think she tells to crowd who came to learn how to write, is pen down "10 things I know to be true" (as a list only, coz they are begginers) if not this than jottling down any 10 things that matter or you should have learnt etc. 

And what happens further is you would discover that if we all started sharing our lists out loud. At a certain point, you would realize that someone has the exact same thing, or one thing very similar, to something on your list. And then someone else has something the complete opposite of yours. Third, someone has something you've never even heard of before. Fourth, someone has something you thought you knew everything about, but they're introducing a new angle of looking at it. And this is where great stories start from.. 



P.S. - It's a fun exercise.. i did it with my people.. you would get to know how much you know that person if you really are close.. if not you will get close to them by knowing what they truly believe in... And if nothing atleast you will get a new perspective..

So here's are 10 things I Know to be True..

1. GOD: I don't have any idea of who or what God is. But I do believe in some great spiritual power. It's just something that's bigger and stronger than what I am or what anybody is, was or will be. I feel it. You can call it vibes, energy, frequency anything..

2. LOVE: As cheezy as it may sound but I do believe this four letter word that cannot be defined and I do know that when it arrives everything will make sense.. it gives life an essence.. it's a pleasurable pain.

3. GOOD PEOPLE DOES EXIST: No matter whether we are or aren't in kalguy I believe that good people do exist.. I can never accept a myth that all people here have ulterior motives..

4. HOME IS NOT A PLACE, IT'S MADE OF PEOPLE: A bunch of homosapiens that are yours to call.. who are there with you through thick n thin.. with whom u share your happiness and cries.. that's home.. not a mixture of sand, water and bricks.

5. BOOKS ARE YOUR BEST FRIEND: I know to some people this might be alien but yes books indeed give you "wings" 

6. PAY BACK HERE ITSELF: Whatever you do you will pay back or get return here itself.. good or bad is for us to decide.. 

7. INTENTIONS: As ironic as it may seem but I believe that your intentions behind any thing counts and not the end result.. because it does happen that you do something really bad but it's repurcations are good or vice versa.. you just cannot get away with the bad motive or it's never that your good motive will go unnoticed.

8. PEOPLE NEVER CHANGE: Original attributes of people their strongly rooted beliefs never change.. NEVER!

9. EVERYTHING HAPPENS FOR A REASON: Happy, sad, good or bad every damn thing happen for a reason.. we are just too small to see the end or horizon.. you are exactly where you should be.. let me say you are strategically placed there..

10. And last but not the least i do believe in disney stories and marvel heros and vampires.. THEY DO EXIST.

TWENTY SIX… 26… I keep repeating this age in my head again and again.. this is how old I am now… young I am now??? FAILING WELL

Today I saw two small girls playing badminton; a very common game.  The two girls were playing with a lot of effort. Hitting hard with the racket, running for the cork, teaching each other and scolding each other. But they didn’t know how to play they were making small baby steps in learning it.. This continued for days,  2-3 hours each day. Their temperament was motivating.. Even when their cork didn’t hit the racket for this long they keep on playing and telling each other techniques that even the other barely knew (Literal trial and error). And even when they hit the cork, it flew in some other direction rather than where they were targeting.. In spite of this they motivated each other picking up the cork and giving it another try hoping this time somehow it would work and they would learn it..
